for Michigan’s 6th District

Congresswoman Dingell has proudly served Michigan’s 12th District for nearly eight years, and she plans to run for reelection in the newly drawn Michigan 6th District to continue that work. The diverse and thriving district is home to several colleges and universities, and hardworking men and women who define the American dream. This district includes all of Washtenaw County and stretches Downriver to significant parts of Wayne County. The Huron River and numerous waterways through the district lead to the Detroit River and Great Lakes. The Detroit River International Wildlife Refuge is the only international wildlife refuge in North America. The district is also home to the American Center for Mobility in Ypsilanti, and the EPA’s National Vehicle and Fuel Emissions Laboratory in Ann Arbor.
